Washer was overloaded, clothes were completely removed water remained in the basin. Then I restarted the cycle from the begining goes completely thru the cycle but on final spin, it spins but water does not drain and after a few min of spinning the burning rubber smell occurs.

If you are saying it drains and spins ok after the wash cycle, but not after the rinse cycle then this is somewhat of a mystery.

I would open it up and check the pump and internal hoses for a blockage or obstruction. Given that you overloaded it that is the first place to check.
