AUTO DEFROST DOES NOT WORK RIGHT - FREEZER ICES UP AND FRIG TEMP GOES WARM.
WE HAVE: 1. DEICED COILS WITH HAIR DRYER 2. CHECKED THERMOSTAT & HEATING COIL 3. REPLACED PART# AP2993442 (from U)
AFTER ABOUT 2 WEEKS OF (SEEMINGLY) NORMAL OPERATION IT REVERTS TO ABOVE CONDITION

What is the NAME of the part that you replaced!!! ( I couldn't find the part by #):)

I'll bet that the DEFROST TERMINATION THERMOSTAT is bad!!! Its in the freezer section, mounted to the evaporator coil.
