It appears my freezer fan is not working. I hold the light switch and fan doesn't go on.

Symptoms:
- condenser is working, it's pretty cold
- the port where air goes from freezer to fridge has icicles in the fridge
- there is water collecting on the bottom of the fridge
- stuff in the fridge is barely freezing/frozen
- fan does not freely rotate when I tap it
- I have fully defrosted the whole unit - little change (original symptom was complete freeze up of the port between freezer/fridge)

Do I need to just replace the fan, or the control board, something else...?

Thanks in advance!!

It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little air pressure will usually clear it out. Flush it out with hot water and clorox may help. Make sure it drains quick enough. If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure check defrost timer, defrost heater, defrost thermostat

I will order a fan, as this appears to be at least 1 thing for sure wrong... thanks!
