Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/10/2009(UTC) Posts: 2		This is the Elite Heat 3 to the 3rd? 110.82836100 model. I'm receiving and error code E1 and unit shuts down. I suspect its the thermostat. Manual just says call for service. I am an electrical repair technician for a major newspaper chain and if told what the problem is, most likely could replace bad part. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I think your problem is in the thermistor, which monitors heat in the venting system. You can test it with a meter, and if itis open, just replace it and see if that does not fix your problem. The repair is both cheap and easy.
