I have a 3 year old Kenmore gas range/oven. The oven light is supposed to turn on when the oven door is open, and turn off when it is closed. It also has a switch on the control panel. However, the light is stuck on and never turns off, even when I hit the switch. Any ideas?

The first thing I would check is the door switch (#12 on the break down diagram).

If there is nothing wrong then the problem is a bad control board.

- The part number for the door switch AP3851660

- The part number for the control board AP3882295
