Good Morning, I have a question about my Kenmore Model# 11029852991 washing machine. The only thing that is wrong with it is that it will not spin with more than a few things in it. So to get it to spin the water out of the clothes, I have to take everything out and let it get going then throw everything back in. There is a piece that is broken that I also need to get replaced, but I'm not sure of the name of the part (I think that it might be the lid switch). It is the piece that has to be pushed by the lid in order for certain cycles to work.

It does agitate and drain just fine with clothes in there. I'm sure this question might be answered somewhere else here but I don't know any of the names of these parts. So sorry if it's repetitive.

If someone could please tell me the parts I need, I can fix this thing right up (I've done it before!)

Was thanked: 4 time(s) in 4 post(s)
Just to add my 2 cents...

I would also check the drive block (#15 on the diagram). You can find the complete instructions in one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...ir/373-not-spinning.html

- The part number for the clutch assembly is AP3094537

- The part number for the lid switch is AP3100001

- The part number for the drive block is AP2905773

- The part number for the spanner wrench is AP3538707

Gene.
