Has been making a loud noise while washing but still worked....Today the green light under "clean" is flashing but it didn't wash and when I try to start it again it won't do anything? The green button under clean just continues to blink....

The Clean LED blinking 7 times means the control senses a fault in the temperature rise during the heating cycle.

The electronic control could be reset by initiating a service diagnostic cycle.

While the dishwasher is inactive press the Heated dry, Normal, Heated dry, Normal keys within 6 seconds.

If it happens again then the heating circuit should be diagnosed.

Regarding a loud noise I would recommend to check the pump chopper for a foreign objects. You can find the instructions in one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...hirlpool-dishwasher.html

A clogged sump can actually trigger the clean light flashing.
