The dryer will run with no heat. The igniter lights for 15 seconds then shuts off without producing a flame. The Hi temp cut off and flame detector check out OK. It was suggested that I check the Gas Valve coils. The coil with 2 contacts measures a resitance of 1300 ohms. The coil with 3 contacts measures 1300 ohms across the 1st and second contacts but infinity on the third. Is this normal? If so what would be the next component to check?

Looks like the coils are bad. The correction is to replace them.

- The part number for the coil kit is AP3094251

Thanks, Gene. I went ahead and replaced the coils and that did solve the problem.

You are welcome, Jay. I'm glad you were able to fix it.
