My refrigerator & freezer just stopped cooling.
It was bought in 2000 side by side model TFX26ZPDABB almost 9 years old now.
Compressor is running, pretty much constantly now. Gets a little warm but probably nothing abnormal.
Checked the defrost timer - working OK Checked temperature control thermostat - working OK (Ohm'd out & compressor running, so must be OK)
Defrost heater not on
Coils only show a little bit of ice at the bottom Cleaned the outside coils, they were dirty but this didn't seem to make a difference.
All fans seem to be running.
What else could be wrong? Any help appreciated.

That is a sign of low freon. A tech will need to find the leak, fix it and recharge the system.
