Is there any way to tell if the defrost timer is working properly on a refrigerator. I received a message that it could be the timer or it might be the fan not running. If the fan is not working should I just replace the motor and see if that fixes it? Does the condenser fan run all the time? Can the timer be bad and the defrost on all the time? All the help you can give is welcome.

Refrigerator Repair Guide: How To Fix a Refrigerator - ACME HOW TO.comThe fan should be running when the compressor is running except when it's in the defrost cycle or the door open.
