My Dishwasher will not filll with water. If I put water in myself it does fine and drains it. Could replacing the valve do the trick???

As long as you have good water pressure I would say that the valve is bad. It could be that the valve isn’t getting power but this is unlikely, replace the valve. Appliance Repair Guide For All Major Home Appliances
