My problem is the key pad bake buttons/functions (for top and bottom ovens) works intermittently. I've read various appliance repair blogs on the internet & the most likely cause points to the ribbon cable on the control panel assy. I've cleaned, wiggled, bent, etc and at times I can get the bake buttons to function but only temporarily. I cannot definitely tell if the problem is with the control panel/ribbon cable assembly or the connector on the erc board.

Although I'm pretty confident the control panel (P/N AP3207356) is the part I need, I'm concerned that the mating connector on the control erc board could be the problem.
Your thoughts suggestions before I purchase a new control panel.
All other functions work on the stove.
Thanks

This model number looks much better.:)

Most likely the problem is a bad control panel and the part number you posted is correct.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for GE JKP48CF1CC | AppliancePartsPros.com
