My wife reports that water is standing in the bottom of the dishwasher and is NOT draining out. The sink adjacent is draining fine. The drain problem is confined to the dishwasher itself. I tried to get the unit out of the base cabinet and detached the screws at the top right and left sides but there seems an attachment at the bottom that I can not locate to get it to come out. What can I do to get it out so that I can check for a clog in the drain (I assume there is a drain hose)? I tried a plunger in the water but that did no good.

Hi Bill,

The drain pump is accessible from the front of the dishwasher. You can use the instructions attached to this reply. Also you can use the troubleshooting instructions from one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...troubleshoot-manual.html
