I have a problem with the RR dual burner on my Kitchen Aid stove. I can turn it on, but the temperature control does not work; it stays on and overheats until I manually switch it off.
Can you please advice on what part I need to replace/order, the infinite switch or the surface heating element?

Thanks.

Most likely the problem is a bad switch for this burner. If you need the correct part number then post the complete model number of the stove (there suppose to be 3 more letters and 1 digit after "7").
