i replaced the kit as per instructions,lower thermostat first part 3390291.but i was left with 1 unattache red wire.is this normal:confused:

Not sure what you mean.
If the wire you refer to was part of the kit then perhaps it was not required in your unit.
If the wire is part of the units wiring harness then you have miswired in the kit.
