Kenmore model #106.55229400 Today I replaced the ice maker with a new one but still doesn't work no water and no sound from the ice maker. i checked the beam on the side panel and if it's closed LED flashes if i open it LED light is steady. any suggestions

Do the following: close the freezer door for a minimum of 1 minute, open the freezer door and watch the LED. Report if the LED flashing 2 pulses repeatedly. If not then hold in the freezer light switch and watch the LED. Report if the LED is flashing at 1 second intervals or not.
