The heating element comes on (on part briter than the other) and cycles off after a minute, but the clothes take several times through a whole cycle to dry. Not sure if I should replace the element or I have one or more bad thermostats. Ed

Pull it and take a look OR if you have a meter pull both wires and measure between the heater's connectors should he around 8 ohms. Then measure from each connector to the case, should be infinite (open).
