While washing laundry, I noticed squealing sound. When I checked the machine the agitator was not moving. You can move the agitator by hand. HELP!!! 4 boys! I really need my washer.

Does the whole agitator not move or just the top part of it?

Looks like the problem is a worn out agitator dogs. You can find more information in one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...p-agitator-slipping.html

- The part number for the agitator repair kit is AP3138838
