Fan and lights work, no crazy sounds at all from the compression pump. But no sounds at all from the pump. Do you think the defrost timer has gone bad? Model #- EDZZPOXFNOL The fridge was purchased in 99

I took the part out and shook it, hearing a rattle sound and small bits like a pepper shaker starting pouring out. Thoughts?
