Well now I have done it. Last I checked the controls on my Kenmore Elite worked fine. I have moved the fidge to our new residence and now the controls do not work.

While moving the unit is never was leaned more than 45% on an appliance dolly. It was not handled roughly nor did it have any impacts along it journey.

As of right now the unit cools ok and the door alarm still works, but the controls do not.

Any help would be appreciated. If this is a simple reset or fuse that would be great, if it is more I will be making use of the warranty soon as I can find it. I think the warranty was for something like 5 years parts and labor, but i could be wrong.

I'm afraid I did not get it clear. Can you be more specific on the problem?

Maybe the console light bulbs unscrewed and you can't read the control settings.

Very funny guys, but not funny. Everything appears to work normally with the exception that the control buttons do not respond.

Possible the control has gone bad. I would replace the control board, but there is a small chance for the overlay to be bad as well.

- The part number for the control board is AP4358837

- The part number for the overlay is AP4081111

hanks Gene, Looks like a job for the warranty. I was hoping to push a button or two and make it work again. Will post back which it was and how it all went with the extended warranty.
