My timer will advance in timed setting but not during auto sense dry, I have heat. I replaced the thermal fuse not long ago. I replaced the cycling thermostat ( it was good) the hi temp has continuity, exhaust duct free and clear, dryer heat cycles on and off pretty frequently, temp at exhaust was about 140+- How can I test my timer to be sure ? I followed some tests in my wiring diagram with my meter and most "zeroed" out however on the Auto hi temp setting I measured some resistance, (between TM-WB) not normal right?I just want to make sure before I buy a new timer. Any help would be great.

I mentioned earlier the heat cycles frequently, what is the average run time for a heat cycle ? My flame seems to only blow for about 20-30 seconds then start up in a bit and do the same ,on /off on /off is this normal ? Thanks

OK no help yet but, to update I replaced the gas valve coils thinking I wasn't getting enough heat, made no difference. I also used an infrared thermometer at the exhaust and my temp is about 125-130 it varies. The heater still cycles pretty frequently and the timer still will not advance in auto setting. I have replaced: thermal fuse, cycling thermostat, gas valve coils, tested the hi limit and by passed it thinking it might be weak, no difference. Any suggestions ? Is it the timer ? What else can I check ? Thanks
