I had to replace the Adaptive Defrost Board about 3 years ago then my freezer started to experience the same defrosting problems, so I recently replaced the board again. The fridge worked initially (for 3 weeks) but has started to frost up again. What could be causing the Adaptive Defrost boards to fail?

Did you check the defrost thermostat for continuity? Did you visually inspect it?

The new thermostat comes as a part of the heater assembly.
