I ordered a start relay kit for my refrigerator. The kit had 2 start relays that were the same. The instruction sheet shows both a Style 1 and a Style 2. Both of the relays I received were style 1. The old relay off of my refrigerator is just like the Style 2 shown in the instructions. Can I adapt the relay I received to fit my compressor?

If you ordered the part AP3885081, it comes with two white boxes, one with a orange dot, the other with a black dot. The instructions call for selection based on the serial # of the fridg. If they did send two identical white boxes, send them back. If your old relay is a black, small plastic ptc device, use the new one supplied, with the white klixon as the overload.
