My frigidaire fdb126rbs2 will fill up and drain, but never cycles the wash. It makes no sounds other than the timer during the wash cycle. I figured this was the motor. Should I replace it or repair it?

First you have to find out what is wrong with it.
Could be:
1. the motor - check it for continuity.
2. the timer - check that the contact for the motor is closed.
3. bad connection or a broken wire - check visually. If OK check for continuity.

Cannot say if you should replace it.
Both the motor and the timer are approximately $100 but it may be worth investing this amount of money if the rest of the unit is in good shape.

You will need a meter.
Do you have one?
