Last Night we lost power. Today the wall oven had a code of E1 F1. I turned off the breaker for 30 seconds and same thing. The stove top works, all lights on the display work. The oven does not get hot. The oven is 9 years old. Is this the control panel? Or maybe just the transformer as I read in a thread? Are parts still availabel? Whirlpool RBS305PD89 Thanks, Pat

This is propane. When we 1st saw the error code E1 F1, we tried the stove top and it would not light. After I turned off power for 30 seconds the stove top lights. Could this be the pilot light for the oven? I don't smell gas when we turn on the oven. Pat

Could not find info on the listed model number PD89, tech sheet is for a PDB9. Hopefully this is correct. Here are your parts Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL RBS305PDB9 | AppliancePartsPros.comHere is a tech sheet https://www.servicematters.com/d...0Sheet%20-%204451884.pdfLooks like the code is an error on the control board. Code seems to indicate it is a check sum error re: the integrated circuit is shot. I would remove power from the unit overnight, some boards take quite a while to reset. A long shot but still worth a shot. It is interesting that the board comes with an electronic filter (line conditioner), sort of indicates there have been a problems in this area (voltage spikes damaging the chip). |

Great forum, thanks for the help.
I'll leave the power off for a day & see if that works. I see the control panel takes 5-6 days to ship. Is that all I need? Can you direct me to insructions to r&r the control panel. I don't see any screws. Does everything pry off? Do I need to pull the oven out to get to the control board?

Little help please. Oven did not reset overnight. I'm trying to decide whether to call a repairman. Would like to do this myself. Do I only need the control panel? Can anyone direct me to instruction to r&r the panel.

researching whirlpool control panel on ovens; there has been a recall on their ovens in 2004 due to malfunctioning control panels. there are underlying problems causing the probems with current model a hard to reach fuse and ignition module. i have replaced control panel twice and it has blown for the third time.
