My machine is 2 years old. I did about 5 loads yesterday and the last one didn't drain. It went through all of the cycles, just didn't drain. Today I put it back on the spin cycle to drain & the motor starts making a whirring noise, if that makes sense. What could be the problem?

Check the drain pump () located on the front of the motor and see if something might have found it's way in and is now preventing water from leaving the tub. The easiest way to get to the pump is to remove the screws holding the control panel is place, then remove the two gold colored clips that hold the cabinet to the rear panel. Take hold of the inside of the opening and tilt the entire cabinet toward you and off the base. The pump is in the middle at the bottom.
