After running its last cycle, our dishwasher will not start. There are no LEDs lit on the control panel.
Checked and reset the circuit breaker. Removed the front panel and the cover for the control unit. No power at Connector PS04-1 or PS04-2. Checked door switch with breaker off and I have continuity with the latch closed and it ohms out open with the latch unlatched.
Found the service data sheet inside the front panel, but because there is no power, I can't run the diagnostic.
What I'm looking for are the logical steps to check out the transformer and check whether there is something open in the incoming AC. I'd also like to know whether the float switch or anything else in the circuitry will prevent the unit from starting and running.
Thanks. I hope I can get this turkey running before Thursday or we may be serving the bird on paper plates and cups with plastic silverware.

The first thing I would do is, using an extension cord, power up the dishwasher from a different outlet. If this is not the issue, then remove the bottom panel and the cover for the junction box and check the power cord connection to the dishwasher for a burned wires and for a reversed polarity (when the hot wire connected to the neutral and the neutral wire connected to the hot). Check all wires inside the door. - Here are the break down diagrams for the Frigidaire dishwasher Model FDB736GFS5Gene.
