My 2 year old KitchenAid will not run. I have 3 lights blinking on the control panel - Normal, Light China, and Cancel. I have reset the circuit breaker, leaving it off for 20 minutes, and the turning it back on. The lights start blinking again and I cannot get control of the appliance. It acts like the "internal computer" has gone out. In the parts list I see a Electronic Control Panel. Is that what needs to be replaced or is it something else? And if that is the part, how hard is it to do?
Thanks,
John Roberts

The problem can be a bad keypad or a bad control board. You have to check key pad operation as instructed in the Tech sheet (page 2) in order to determine which part is bad.

If the problem is a bad keypad, which is a part of the control panel, and you need the correct part number then post the color of it.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and replacement parts for the Kitchen Aid dishwasher Model KUDS02FRBL4

Gene,
Thanks for the feedback. I tried the sequence for the ketpad in the Tech Sheet = Heat Dry Normal Heat Dry Normal, but I cannot get control of the keypad. The lights just keep blinking.

Gene,
How hard is it to get to the keypad ribbon trail? Do you have to take the entire door apart?

John,

You do have to take the door apart. Carefully remove the outer door panel first.
