I need to replace an interior panel in my freezer door and need detailed directions on how to do this. Is there a manual available online?

Dear deevalerie,

There are no detailed instructions available on line that I know of but I may be able to give you a general idea. It may take some time to replace it but you will save some money doing it yourself.

Click here for breakdown for us to refer to

( Take your time looking it over to avoid additional work )

1.First disconnect the wire harness for the dispenser along the bottom

2.( See diagram #3 ) You will have to start taking the door off by removing the top hinge screws #43 from the body and leaving the hinge #18 attached to the door.

3.Pull the door up and off, laying it on something soft on the floor.

4.( See diagram#6 ) You will have to then remove item #34 along with all the screws#15 and the retainers #13 under the lip of the gasket#14.

5.All other pieces from the old door will have to be used on the new door.

6.Reassemble in the opposite it was taken apart.
