Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/17/2009(UTC) Posts: 1		I've just installed a GE dishwasher, which was given to me. When the drain valve is activated the housing pump starts to leak at the shaft for the pump drain valve. Can you advise me on whether replacing the Seal for the pump drain valve shaft will fix this problem or i need to replace the housing pump, should i call a repair guy or just buy a new dishwasher?? I don't know what to do? Thanks in advanve, Coxay

If the shaft is not rusted this should fix your problem. Make diagrams of how it goes back together, a digital camera comes in handy here.
