Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/13/2009(UTC) Posts: 1		I have a whirlpool model # du89oswlqo serial # fr2615710 dishwasher that does not fill with water. It appears that the float inside the washer at the bottom is missing. Can I just buy a new float and push it back on the plastic tube that is sticking up about three inches? Will it stay secure? If I push in the door switch and put a screwdriver down in the tube that is located inside the washer at the bottom and push it down with the controls turned on, water enters the machine like it it suppose to. Do you know how old this dishwasher is? Is there anything else I should check? Thanks
