I cleaned our microwave as usual and it works great except now when the turntable goes around it makes a noise. If I take the glass turntable out along with the little plastic ring with the 3 wheels on it there is no noise.
I put the ring with the 3 wheels and the glass plate back in--------turn it on so the turntable goes around and it starts to make a grinding or poping noise.
Could the ring with the wheels be bad????????????

The problem can be a bad turntable motor or a bad turntable coupler. Pull out the coupler (under the glass) and inspect it for any crack. If there is nothing wrong, replace the motor. You have to remove the bottom panel to access it. - The turntable coupler Part number: AP3671497
