Can I bypass thermal fuse somehow to confirm dryer operation?

What exactly is wrong with your dryer? The best thing you can do is to check the thermal fuse (#7 on the bulkhead part break down diagram) for continuity. Replace it if it's open. The thermal fuse - The part number for the thermal fuse AP3132867 According to the manufacturer instructions, if the thermal fuse is open, the cycling thermostat has to be replaced too. The dryer will not turn on, I have power. Was informed it may be the fuse. I do not have meters at my disposal.
