OK my dishwasher sucks. ok My dishwasher gets water but as soon as the water comes it in drains but the drain does not turn on. I took water and put it in and it drain with the unit unpluged. so i do not have a clue what is going on. at first i thought i was not getting any water but then when i put the water in my self i watched it go out the drain. so i turned it on and watched the drain hose and sure enough the water goes right out the drain. SO I NEED HELP please.

Is this a new installation? It sounds like the drain hose was not installed correctly and gravity is allowing the water to drain out. The drain hose must be looped up above the level of the drain connection to create an air gap to prevent siphoning of waste water. You may want to recheck the installation guide for proper drain connections.

You said you put water in and it drained away even when the unit was unplugged. You also said it drains without the drain being on. I think I need a better understanding of the problem. When the dishwasher first turns on, it will drain for two minuets, then it fills with water and then the pump turns on. Is the water just draining out of the machine and is the drain pump on or is the water just running out?

You still have not answered by questions. I am more than willing to assist you with your troubles, but I am going to need some dialog in order to understand what specifically the trouble is. You first said the water just ran out without the dishwasher being plugged in, and your last update said it is still draining. Where is it draining to? If you start the dishwasher and just let it run, does water ever enter the tub? Then what happens? Is the drain pump running all the time? Does the water just run out even when the door is opened? I am not sure if your dishwasher is always draining because the pump is running, or if it is siphoning because based on what you are telling me, it seems to be doing both. Start with a wash cycle and tell me what it does specifically and then we can see about solving your problem.
