Dishwasher fills up with water but wash cycle nothing happens. Water just lay,s there. Next cycle water pumps out, nextcycle water comes in fills up next cycle washcycle water just lays there nextcycle water pumps out next cycle rincecycle water comes in just lays there next cycle water pumps out took screen in bottom out cleanedit took cover off pump impeller is free

Remove the bottom panel and check if the wash pump motor is working or makes any noise while the timer calls for wash. Post the results.

when diswasher changes cycles it sounds like amotor humming during the wash cycle,and the main motor to the rear of the tub is running but water just lays there till next cycle then it pumps water out. harry123

There are two motors in your dishwasher. One is the main pump motor (#70 on the diagram) and the other one is the drain pump motor (#60). So which motor is running and which one is humming?
