Your motor has an inverter, and the inverter flashes green light for error codes. This site here will tell you how to check it. First to the reset thing, that might be all you need to do. HydroWave GE Washer Repair Guide

Your reply to my problem, was timley but unfortunatley the info you provided doe'st apply to my machine. The machine I have is a bare bones no frills model There is no light on the motor to test. model # is WCSR2090G3WW. When the timer reaches the spin mode, I hear a clunk=sound which of course is normal for transmission shift . But the motor does'nt energize. I think I may need instructions on how to disassemble the wash=basket /Thanks

Take off the belt and see if the motor is turning when it is supposed to be spinning. If so, the problem may be in the transmission/brake package which would then need to be replaced.
