Gene [or anyone] - The color of the extra wire in the photos provided show the wire as being black [not green]. This is how it appears in my oven as well. Is this really a ground wire that can be removed? You can see it in the photo that has the caption "This is the extra pin I mentioned in Q1". I just want to verify this before I complete my repair.

Thanks in advance for any help.

All wires are colored according the code. Black wire is always hot and should not be removed.

In order to provide most accurate advice we need the complete model number of the oven.

Found my answer on another forum. I was confused about the COM0 and COM1 on the new board. Looks like things are functioning now, although not sure about the fans or how I can test to see if the fans are working as expected. Any help here?
