Here's what it is DOING: WATER WON'T DRAIN WON'T SPIN: WHEN DIAL ADVANCES TO SPIN CYCLE, IT WON'T SPIN, THERE IS A HUMMING SOUND Can you diagnose the problem based on description above? If so, you need a new timer. The Whirlpool # is 660750. This sites # is AP2915208. Both sites I checked show it is no longer available. You can get this timer repaired. There are on line sites that do this, just crunch in google for them.
