Here's what it is DOING:

  • WATER FILLS
  • MOTOR RUNS
  • AGITATES
  • TIMER DIAL ADVANCES AND WON'T STOP (I manualy pull the knob to stop it.
Here's what it is DOING:

  • WATER WON'T DRAIN
  • WON'T SPIN: WHEN DIAL ADVANCES TO SPIN CYCLE, IT WON'T SPIN, THERE IS A HUMMING SOUND
Can you diagnose the problem based on description above? What part do you think I need?

Thanks,
Florian

I would pull the cover off the timer and look for burnt points. If so, you need a new timer.
The Whirlpool # is 660750. This sites # is AP2915208.
Both sites I checked show it is no longer available.
You can get this timer repaired. There are on line sites that do this, just crunch in google for them.
