Tried to run and it filled and then started to flash. I pushed the Cancel Botton and it started to flash along with the control botton. The machine is full of water. What did I do?

I just replaced my control board and the new board did the same thing. I pushed the "High" button and it just started flashing, then I pressed the "Normal" button and that started flashing, Then the "Cancel" button and they were all flashing. I have a different model dishwasher, but I got the same replacement board. I think I got a bad board and I'm having a new one sent to me via the 90 day warranty, but I'm not sure yet if that will fix it or not.
I was able to drain the water out by hooking up my old board and pressing the "Cancel" button twice. I guess that's one thing my old board is still good for.
Since this post is a month old, I wondering if you were able to determine the actual problem, was it the control board?
I will let you know how my replacement goes when I get it in.
