i just changed out my inlet valve and standpipe on my dishwasher and now there's no water coming into the dishwasher, where as before it was overfilling. Any ideas???

Check that you did not accidentally hit the overfill/float mechanism.
The overfill switch should be activated.
Check that the valve is getting water.
Check that there is 120 volts across the fill valve when it should be filling.
If the voltage is there and you do not get water, I would say you received a defective valve. |
