I already bought my first non-Maytag/Whirlpool appliance (a 36" gas cooktop). I'm phasing out my J/A stuff because it's phoney for premium.

I have exactly the same issue and went through the same process of replacement part purchase and subsequent revelation. I guess that tie wraps are the only alternative to c.$250 of new upper rack. What a pain!

I found the correct parts, but they are Whirlpool parts, not Jenn-Air. The top rack tine latch is W10257558 and the bottom rack latch that also broke is W10191636. Those parts work perfectly.
