Check your schematic, the door switch may send voltage to the optics when the door is closed, might be blown open.AP31087668
This info is probably academic, the last one I worked on seems like lightning hit it as the top door switch was blown, together with the wiring, optics and ice maker!

the light switch works normally+optics are new
