I replaced the rear electronic panel board (your # AP4010046) in January, 2011. It had a black-spot on it. After installing your new part it worked fine, but has not stopped working again. I looked at the rear panel board I had replaced and it looks fine. When you touch the fan button it beeps but nothing happens. I do not know what to do next. Thank you for your help. :)

Open the control panel and remove the membrane switch ribbon cable from the control board. Check for continuity between the ribbon cable contacts 5 & 7 while the Fan pad is depressed. If the reading is incorrect, replace the control panel.

Gene,
Thank you very much for replying to my request for help with my Jenn-Air range. You suggest holding down the fan button while I check power. Can you please tell me what the ohms readings should be on the panel unit I am checking?
Thank you,
billasher

Sorry for the delay.

The normal reading should be about 0 Ohms.

Sorry, Gene: Are you saying it should read 0 ohms while pressing the fan button?

Many thanks,
billasher
