Here are your parts Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL ED25QFXHW00 SIDE-BY-SIDE REFRIGERATOR | AppliancePartsPros.comRemove the cover from inside the freezer. Force a defrost and see if the defrost heater comes on. If not unplug the unit and check the defrost heater (usually around 20 ohms) and the defrost timer (should be 0 ohms when frozen). Check the defrost thermostat for any signs of bulging. If it is bulged it needs replacing even it it measures OK. If the heater does come on then I would replace the defrost thermostat as it is the more likely of the two parts to go intermittent. PS: Using capitals for every word makes your post hard to understand so I am not sure that I am on the right track. |
