I have a GE washer that won't stop filling...I want to fix it myself, but have no idea what to look for to fix it....Could someone give me a step by step on what to do and where to look for the switches etc....I have a five year old little girl..and we need our washer.

In order to provide the most accurate advise I need the complete model number of your washer. You can find it on top of the control panel or on the right side of the cabinet.
