I am looking for an suggestion on my whirlpool washer. I think I am having a problem with my timer. The machine will wash and when the end of the wash agitation it will not go farther. When I then turn the timer knob a extra turn, the machine continues to work. Do I need to replace the timer or is do you have a suggestion?

Since everything seems to work mechanically I think you do have a timer problem. Try replacing it and see if that fixes things.
If you need more info, repost but check your model number as I think you have a typo in it and we cannot see what model you have.

I put a new $100 timer in my Whirlpool LXR9445JQO and it stops at the same 6min in any cycle. Rarely it can be restarted in the Rinse, but I'm still looking for a better fix (and refund on my timer).
