Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 1/11/2009(UTC) Posts: 1		Can anyone help me. My lint screen light went on and my dryer will not work now. I removed the panel at the bottom and the the cover over the lint area and cleaned it up. (There was a lot of lint in there...) I put it back together and it is still flashing when I try to start it and won't turn on.... Could the sensor be replaced? Is this something I can do? I have never worked on a dryer before and I just do not know what to do next.

When it melts it shuts down everything and this keeps the lint from catching fire. It looks like this: Duet Job Aid.pdf (1,508kb) downloaded 126 time(s). When I opened the bottom front to see if it was the thermal fuse, I saw the belt was broken. I replaced the belt and it worked fine.
