Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/31/2011(UTC) Posts: 1		So what are the basic steps to replacing the transmission? I have it taken apart except for separating the transmission from the tub. Does it just get pounded out after removing the tub bolts? Must I separate the spring from the transmission? Do I need special tools? Please help if you can. Greg

Do an Internet search for a Maytag Atlantis service manual and see if you can get one for a free download or for a nominal price.
