Hi,
I hope someone can help tell me what part I need to purchase. A couple weeks ago I noticed that my Admiral dryer no longer heats at all. It will spin/tumble just fine, but no heat. I also notice that the light in the dryer no longer works when I open the door. Are these issues related? I don't care so much about the light, but I would like the dryer to heat up again. What part should I buy?
Thanks!!

Sounds like you have a power problem, I would say that L2 is out.
The timer and the motor get power from L1 but the heater and the light require L2.

Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly a couple times, sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker.
If this does nothing, check the voltage at the plug
L1 to L2 should be 240 volts
L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts.
If OK
Unplug the unit and check the wires at the terminal strip in the machine to make sure none are loose or burned out
If OK
Check the power at the terminal strip.

You were absolutely right. 1/2 of my breaker was tripped but it didn't trip both of them. I flipped the breaker off and then back on and the heat and light started working again!
You the man!!!
